Computer Engineering

This 30 credit hour graduate program provides students with a strong background in computer engineering with an appropriate balance between software and hardware skills. These skills include software development, design of digital systems, microprocessors, embedded systems, real-time control and digital communication networks. Students will also gain design skills, including the ability to formulate problems, design experiments, collect, analyze and interpret data, evaluate material, computational and personnel resources needed to solve typical problems. Graduates will gain the skills needed to meet the needs of the region, including automotive construction; power and defense related industries consistent with the mission of the institution.
