Alpha Pi Chapter
Pi Tau Sigma is a mechanical engineering honor society that was jointly established in 1915 by the University of Illinois and the University of Wisconsin. Pi Tau Sigma is classified as an "Honorary Mechanical Engineering Society", with a goal "to develop in students of mechanical engineering the attributes necessary for effective leadership and the assumption of the responsibilities of a citizen in a democracy." Our chapter at the University of Michigan - Dearborn is relatively new, having started in the fall of 1996.
