The environmental chamber measures and supplies conditioned air at precisely controlled temperature and humidity (dew point) conditions allowing for accurate and repeatable testing of evaporators, condensers and gas coolers under varying ambient conditions.

Laboratory-Grade flow meters for testing volumetric air flow rates from 4 to 3600 cfm and
pressure drops. The wind tunnel has the ability to measure component (heat exchanger) pressure drop as well as vehicle body leakage.

Subcompact vehicle frame and interior is available to perform system testing.  The refrigeration system is powered by an electric motor and instrumented.
